Service de pathologie buccale CMB (PathoCMB) is excited to announce its promising partnership with Biron Pathologie.
Biron Pathologie is a leading Canadian laboratory recognized for its anatomic pathology and cytology services and its highly specialized team, which has been delivering exceptional expertise across a broad range of specialties for many years. The addition of oral and maxillofacial pathology to their service portfolio further strengthens their commitment to accessibility, excellence, and ongoing innovation.
This collaboration reflects our desire to enhance service efficiency, expand access to oral and maxillofacial pathology for all Québec dentists, and broaden our geographic reach, ensuring an improved experience for both you and your patients.
What remains the same:
- ➢ The oral pathology team at PathoCMB will continue to oversee sample analysis and provide accurate histopathologic diagnosis for your biopsy samples.
- ➢ You will still benefit from the same personalized support from our oral and maxillofacial pathologists, available by phone or email just as before.
- ➢ Courrier dentaire will continue to manage specimen collection within the geographic territory served by the company.
- ➢ Laboratory fees remain unchanged: 150$ for a single biopsy and 200$ for two biopsies from the same patient during the same visit but at two different sites.
- ➢ Biopsy kits will continue to be delivered to you at no charge by Biron. The email address and phone number to request the kits are below.
- ➢ Fast and accurate results.
What’s new as of January 5, 2026:
- ➢ A redesigned online requisition form is accessible through the Biron Pathologie website (Biron forms), it is inspired by the existing PathoCMB requisition form and continues to offer the possibility to upload clinical and radiographic images. This new form has been adapted to the Biron Pathologie format.
- ➢ The pathology report issued by Biron Pathologie will feature a different layout from the current format.
- ➢ Biron Pathologie will be responsible for the billing process.
